Huygens noticed that the pendulums of two pendulum clocks hanging on the same wall were always synchronized.
This simulator reproduces that behavior.
Two oscillators are fixed to the same wall and interact through the wall.
Each pendulum experiences damping and excitation, and regardless of the initial conditions,
they eventually settle into oscillation with a constant amplitude.
Even if the two pendulums start swinging at different angles, they can be observed to eventually synchronize.
The derivation of the equations of motion used for the numerical integration is available
in this note.
